Researches, plans, coordinates and proposes original designs of mechanical products and systems. Oversees the testing of prototype equipment. Analyzes projects work scope to develop and coordinate design/drafting manpower requirements for project demand and scheduling. Prepares project plans, schedules, budgets and status reports. Ensures effective communication between Engineering and Project Teams. Leads design/drafting efforts on design projects. Plans and coordinates design and drafting activities involved in the conceptual customer design proposal, definition of application, mid level engineering calculations and manufacturing of assigned products.
Prepares designs and layouts that define equipment concepts or the basic functional characteristics of systems, components, structures or equipment. Selects information from precedents, manufacturer’s catalogs and technical guides. Assists Drafting Supervisor in team building, time management, setting & achieving org objectives & proposing drafting/design process improvements. Assists with the preparation of technical publications, presentations and computer animations for sales, proposal and project personnel. Assist in new product ‘search and screen’ studies, develops innovative product concepts with proprietary advantages over the competition. Frontiers new approaches using new/emerging technology to improve products and applications.
Recognised Degree in Engineering (B.E Hons or equivalent.
Min. 10 years of System Design for onshore / offshore application. At least total of 5 years of experience in EPC Contracting work will be an advantage.
Candidate that can speak bahasa will be an added advantage.
